Odes to commuting

What William Carlos Williams might have written if he had driven an hour to work every morning.

The Red Pontiac
so much depends
upon
a red
pontiac

glazed with rain
water

along the black
asphalt.

This is just to say
I have driven
the car
that was in
your garage

and which
you were probably
saving
for yourself

Forgive me
it was fantastic
so fast
and so smooth

And a big thank you to Will for submitting the second poem.

That's great! (So great that it deserves to be on the original post. I'm moving it now.)

The possiblities are endless. Can you think of a poet that is parodied more often than WCW?
